Sunday: A day of rest?

Oh my. I am so utterly exhausted after today. I am serious when I say I did not sit down (to relax) from 7:45am to 6pm. Here's how the day went:
I wake up to Caleb at 7:45am. This is really sleeping in for him. Which normally I would totally appreciate but I had so much to do today that it took away an hour of the time I needed. (Sad, that I had so much to do on a sunday, right? I guess that's just what happens sometimes). I hurried and started working on our Father's Day breakfast of "Pull Aparts" or monkey bread as many people call it. I have never gotten this recipe to work since living in UT. After the perscribed 30 minutes, the top layer is crispy but you pick it up and it is all dough underneath. I thought I'd try it again but with no luck. During the cooking, we opened father's day gifts, I took a shower and printed up some last minute things for our Presidency meeting. I'm the Primary Secretary and we got a new presidency this week so I have had my hands FULL with printing them up stuff and doing updated rosters and photo directories, etc. Took the bfast out at 9:15 because I had to. It wasn't done yet, but my meeting was at 9:30. We ate and I left.
My meeting was long because it was our first one so I didn't get home until about 11:30. I was so happy when I saw that my wonderful husband had cleaned up the kitchen, finished cooking the pull aparts and bathed and dressed the kids! He is the best! I had to hurry and come downstairs and make some changes to some primary papers that needed to be copied at church. Then I got myself ready and the "bag" ready and we had to leave for church at 12:30 because we walk and I had tons of copies to make and the kids had to be their early to sing to the dads.
Church was crazy. I guess I got to semi relax in Sacrament Meeting. If you count listening to Sacrament Meeting with a 2 and 4 year old relaxing. I didn't stop for a second during the second two hours getting people their copies of stuff and passing out sub sign ups and handing out fliers and lesson schedules etc.
After church I had to hurry and make dinner because Brandon left at 5:15 to go to Seattle for work. So, I made dinner, ate dinner and cleaned up from dinner. At 6pm I turned on a movie for the kids and fell asleep on the couch for a while.

Ahhhh.... Don't you love lazy, relaxing Sundays?

"Day of Rest" doesn't really seem to be accurate that often huh? I LOVED the Mullinax pull-apart special! Working with dough in elevation is so tough. You're awesome, and I love those father's day pics of Brandon and the kids. So cute.

Funny, I just barely read this. I should have had you over for dinner. I just always think that you will be at your mom's, but I guess they were out of town, huh?
