Sunday January 10th: Bon Voyage!

We left for the airport late on Saturday night after the kids had gone to bed to catch our red eye flight. We left Salt Lake around 1am and got into San Juan around 1pm. From the airport we caught a taxi and headed straight for the port to get on the ship!

Of course the first thing we did on the ship was eat! We headed straight for the Carnival’s deli that we love so much. And of course, the dessert buffet! After our good eats we took a much needed nap. I love napping in a cruise stateroom because it is so dark you never have any idea what time of day it is! And with no where to be, that is ultimate relaxation! After our nap it was time to eat again! We ate every dinner in the dining room sharing a table with Wes and Saundra. We love the dining room experience and all the different types of foods we can try. And, boy, did we try LOTS of food! It was fun to have friends to talk with for hours in the dining room and throughout the trip. After dinner we headed up to the deck to watch us sail away from San Juan at 10pm!
