Merry Christmas!

We have had such a great Christmas Season and done so many fun things!

We rode front runner up to Salt Lake to see the lights on the "free" day along with the rest of the state of Utah.  It was really crowded but a lot of fun.  The train was so smooth and fast!  We loved it!

 Indoor sledding!
Brynley's 2nd grade Christmas concert was so cute!  She was a reindeer in "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer".
This is Sadie, Aubrey's best friend.  Aubrey got to go to her birthday party!

This is our big fat huge bunny named Bunny Foo Foo.  I love her!
Brandon was put in charge of the ginger bread house this year.  He took it quite seriously and did a great job!
On Christmas Eve we went up to Aunt Raeda's and met Brandon's family up there.  We went to Scheel's first and played and had fun.  We met some animal "friends" along the way...

Santa brought us some great things this year!  Caleb got an iPod touch.  Brynley got McKenna's Beam and Bar (American Girl) and Aubrey got a Minnie Mouse mat and play set.

The kids were so fun and happy and gracious this year!  I loved it!  Funny story...  Brandon and I both got iPads for Christmas.  We knew about it obviously but had put them away until Christmas.  A few days before Christmas Brandon had the kids helping him wrap my presents.  He said, "You guys wanna see what I'm giving mommy?"  They freaked out and thought it was so cool and did such a good job not telling me.  A day or two later I said, "Hey guys, wanna see what I'm giving Daddy?" I showed them and the secret was just about bulging through their eyes!  There eyes were huge and they were like, "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!" I said, "What?!" They said, "Umm  (deep breaths) you just... ummm... you guys are gonna die on Christmas morning!"  Haha, the had such a hard time keeping both of our "secrets" but they did it!!  And they loved watching us open them together!

We also gave the kids a trip to Disneyland for Christmas.  After all presents had been opened I said that I had one more.  I gave them reusable disney bags with these cute shirts I made, a disney gift card and an autograph book.

Caleb said, "This makes me sad... I want to go to disneyland."
I said, "What's that?"
Caleb, "A notebook."
Me, "Could it be used as an autograph book?"
Caleb: "I like where this is heading!!"
Brynley:  "Are we going to Disneyland?!"
Me:  "Do you guys want to?"
Kids:  "YES!!!"
Me:  "Do you want to go in less than two weeks?!"
Kids:  screams....

So that was a fun surprise.  :-)

It was a really good Christmas at our house and we enjoyed spending time with Brandon's family.  We hope you all had a Merry Christmas as well!
