Cheer Camp
Brynley got to experience life as a cheerleader for 2 weeks this month. Springville High Cheer put on a cute little cheer camp where the cheerleaders taught the girls a dance and some cheers and then they put on a little show. It was really cute. And really popular too because I think every little girl in Springville was there...

Father and Son's Camp out and Girl Party!
Last weekend was the Father and Son's Camp out. The boys had a lot of fun fishing, hiking and playing but it was pretty cold since our ward does it so early in the year.

While the boys were gone we had a girl party! Brynley planned the whole thing. We painted toe nails, made cookies, did puzzles, played games, had a movie night and Brynley slept in my bed with me. It was so fun! At one point she said, "I'm going to go play outside but tell me when the cookies are done. I planned this party so I can't miss any of it!" Such a fun, cute little girl.

Suesical the Musical
Last weekend we went to see Suesical the Musical at BYU. We went out for ice cream first and then headed up to see the play. It was just ok. The preforming was great but I'm not sure I loved the actual play. It was kind of confusing for little kids I thought. But there was enough color and music to keep Aubrey entertained and the big kids liked it so we were happy. It's always fun to go do new and different things as a family!

We also snuck around the HFAC and found the very classroom that Brandon and I met in. We even sat back in the same seats we used to sit in. Can't believe it's been 11 years!

The funny things they say...
Aubrey:
May 10 - We were leaving from the gym and Brynley started running to the car saying, "I'm gonna wi-in!" Aubrey started chasing after her yelling, "I'm gonna lo-ose!"
May 7 - Brandon was putting Aubrey to bed and reading her a story in the rocking chair. I was standing in the doorway winking, smiling and blowing kisses to her. She stares at me with a straight face and says, "Oh. We forgot to shut the door." She gets up and shuts the door in my face and locks it. HA! Is that straight out of the movie Mean Girls or what?
Brynley -
May - Brynley LOVES the chicks. She treats them like her little dolls. The other day I look outside and she's got Pip in her arm on her hip and she says to her, "Did you do it Pip? Did you? DID YOU?!" Lol.

Easter 2011
We had a great Easter this year. Aubrey was so much fun and loved getting into all the festivities. Saturday morning started with a Ward Easter Egg Hunt at the park. The kids love this because they get to do it with all their friends.
Saturday afternoon we colored eggs. Every time we took an egg out of the dye Aubrey would say, "(Sharp intake of breath) Blue!" or whatever color the egg was. She had equal amounts of excitement for the very first egg and the very last egg.
Sunday they woke up to the treasure hunt to find their Easter Baskets. When Aubrey saw hers she said, "(Sharp intake of breath) THAT'S for ME!?" (said in a voice higher and squeakier than I can imitate.
They all loved their baskets.
After church we went to my parents house with our friends the Nye's. We had a great Easter dinner and another fun egg hunt. With 5 kids searching for 10 real eggs and 10 plastic eggs each we hid 100 eggs in their backyard! It didn't take too long though.
We had a great Easter and hope you all did to. We tried hard to teach our kids about the Resurrection and why we celebrate Easter. We are so thankful for life and resurrection of Christ.
Happy Easter!
