It's 5 pm on saturday and we are all still in our jammies. Yes, from this morning. None of us have left the house. Brandon got a power tower (pull up, dip station) for his birthday so we set it up and basically rearranged the basement. We moved all the food storage from one shelving unit to a better one and moved a bunch of stuff around. We also practiced our pull ups. I will be able to do them again some day! (I was up to 3 pull ups and 5 dips before I got pregnant!) Caleb I boxed on the wii and that can be quite a workout if you want it to be. We had fun and were both a little sweaty after.
Anyway, the reason I'm even posting is to ask how you guys how you post your videos on your blog? Do you use blogspot, you tube, what? If you don't use blogspot, how do you do it? I got a new camera that takes HD video and it is coming on monday! I'm SO excited! We never used our video camera b/c it was a pain to charge and have on hand and it was so big, etc. And our old camera's video was so bad. Anyway, i'm really excited! Be prepared for lots of videos to come!

Happy 31st Birthday Brandon!
31? Seriously? I'm married to a 31 year old? Crazy. Anyway, to celebrate Brandon's birthday we went to Red Robin. We had a great time as evidenced by the picures. Lots of yummy food to be had by all. Except me. I ordered a side salad and brought my own chicken and dressing. I even fed Caleb the mud pie dessert because the ice cream was kind of hard and I didn't taste a lick of anything! But I'm not sad about it. I'm very proud of myself. Ah... the joys of trying to lose baby weight. Anyway, Happy Birthday honey! I love you!

There are too many kids in the tub....

An evening with my cousins!
Last Sunday we got together with my cousins. It was so fun to see them! I don't see many of them very often because they all live in California and Hawaii (I know, lucky, huh?!). The kids had a great time and the adults (I guess that's what we are... i still feel like we're the kids... we should still be sitting at the kid table) had so much fun catching up. Scott, Tiff, Steve, Deb, Jess and Cory, I loved seeing all of your babies and catching up! Please come back soon!
These three babies were all born within 5 days of each other!
"Are you hungry?"

"Well, I am!!"

The "cousin children" all on one couch!

It's a baby stare off!

Tuckered out little cutie

Kiddos having dessert

These two cuties were also born within a few days of each other

Cousins and spouses

Just the cousins

Steve, Deb and Magnus

Jessie, Cory, Ashley, Ainsley, Andi, Spender and Avery

Scott, Tiffany and Tosh

Kelly and Dane, we missed you!!!

An afternoon with my kids' cousins!
Last Saturday we spent some more time with Brandon's family. We met them at Kangaroo Zoo in American Fork and let the kids play on the inflatables for a while. Caleb and Brynley LOVE playing with their cousins so they had so much fun here being able to just run WILD with them.

After playing we went to El Pollo Loco. The kids were pretty loud. It was a good thing we weren't at a nice restaurant. They had a lot of fun sitting together and eating quesadillas.

Then we went to Thanksgiving Point and saw the lights and the live Reindeer. Aubrey screamed her teeny tiny (5th percentile) little head off all through the lights. It was very pleasant. So we jumped out of the car, saw the reindeer for about 5 min and left to head home. It was such a fun afternoon. We really need to get together more often you guys!

Merry Christmas
Ok, so Christmas is my all time fave. Seriously. I. LOVE. IT. There were numerous times before Christmas that my kids and I would be jumping up and down saying "It's almost Christmas! It's almost Christmas!" Anyway, the day finally came and it did not dissapoint.
We stayed the night at Brandon's brother's house in Fruit Heights. His other brother and parents were also there. It was a lot of fun. We did Cafe Rio type salads for dinner and had a Mexican theme to the evening. We learned about mexican traditions and even had a pinata. The kids sang and did puppets for the nativity story.

After the festivities, all the kids went to sleep in Collin's room. We never thought they'd fall asleep but they did after a while. Of course, Caleb was still up LONG after the other kids had fallen asleep. But, what's new?

We went to sleep soon after. PS. I thought Aubrey was going to sleep awful considering we weren't at home and all the commotion and what not but this was the second time in her life that she slept ALL night long! (BTW, last night was the third time!) Aubrey was up for the day at 7am so Brandon and I came upstairs. Oh, at 5am Caleb got up and came into our room and we thought he was up for the day. But he fell back asleep and didn't get up until 8am. So Brandon and I are sitting upstairs in the living room with all the presents until Collin and Sami wake up at 7:40am. We're thinking what is going on here?! It's Christmas and it's 7:30am and not a single kid is awake! They all woke up soon after and loved their presents. The kids all got what they asked for.

I got some pretty cool gizmos too (Magic Bullet, crock pot, griddle, waterproof case for my ipod with waterproof headphones so swimming laps won't be a dreaded chore anymore and a gps watch for running. I am so lucky. Thanks to both mom's and brandon!) Brandon didn't get near the loot that I did. His came a few weeks ago and is 52 inches and sitting in our basement. He's spoiled.
Anyway, we had a fabulous Christmas. Sorry we didn't do a Christmas card. We felt like everyone already knows what is going on in our lives through the blog. Maybe next year. Maybe.
We do feel very blessed in our lives right now. We have a nice home; Brandon has a secure job; We have three wonderful children; We are all healthy. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas season!
