Go BYU!

We took the kids to the BYU football game last weekend.  It was a lot of fun but it was SO hot!!  The kids were just fine for the first half but about mid way through the second quarter the kids and I went and sat in the shade on the ground while Brandon and Grandpa finished watching the first half.  Then we skipped out early.  BYU games are always good for people watching and school spirit!

First Day of School

Brynley is starting 2nd grade.  Her teacher is Mrs Fox.  Her favorite color is pink.  She doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up.  Her favorite food is cereal.  Her best friends are Kenzie and London.

 Caleb is starting 4th grade.  His teacher is Mrs Messer.  His favorite color is blue.  He doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up.  His favorite foods are candy and pizza.  :-/  His best friends are Jackson, Trevor and Nick.

 Aubrey is starting preschool.  Her teacher is Mrs Jackie.  Her favorite color is pink.  Her favorite food is brocolli.  She loves to do puzzles.  Her best friend is Sadie MacLean.  She likes to play doll house with her.  She wants to be a mom when she grows up.

Happy Birthday!

The kids shared a birthday party this year.  We rented a private pool where they take swimming lessons and invited their friends.  They had SO much fun!  And I loved that I didn't have any messes at my house to clean up!

Caleb turned 9 this year.  I can't believe he is so old!  Caleb is such a nice boy.  Still.  Even at 9 years old.  He is very helpful around the house always helping me do things for the girls.  He is known for being really nice to new kids and including everyone while he plays.  He loves to ride bikes, play his Nintendo 3DS, and read Harry Potter.  

Brynley turned 7 this year.  She is a sassy, spunky and sweet one!  She is VERY good at cleaning and will often her a lot of marbles for her marble jar and go from room to room cleaning up.  She gets really motivated by her marble jar and gets on a roll and wants to do chore after chore.  She also loves to put Aubrey to bed.  Everything from brush her teeth, read to her and tuck her in!  She is such a nice sister.

Cahoots Duo Challenge

Brandon and I did the Tough Cahoots Duo Challenge a few weeks ago.  It was so much fun.  It is an obstacle course race for teams.  A lot of the challenges needed two people to get through them.  We were in the earliest heat so we didn't have to wait in line much but we hear the later heats had to wait a really long time for each challenge and that would have been really annoying.  We had a really fun time being together and working together.

 

Swimming Lessons

The girls took two sessions of swimming lessons each this summer.  Both of them did so awesome the second session.  I like doing two sessions because it seems like the first session is just a warm up and by the second session they are super stars in the water.
