Aubrey's Helmet

She got her helmet today. As you can see from the pictures she doesn't hate it too much. She spends the next 5 days gradually increasing the amount of time she wears it until she is at 23 hours per day. I'll keep you posted on how it's going. Just wanted to hurry and get some pictures up here so her daddy (who's in TX on business) can see that she's still a cutie!

Real Easter

Last week we had our mock Easter Celebration. Today I've got some pictures of our "real" Easter.

The Easter Bunny came last night and brought Caleb another set of Magformers. These things are so cool. He already had one set but wanted another so he could do more with them. He brought Brynley a Tinkerbell dress. She loved it! She's been wishing for one lately. (I wish I had a Tinkerbell dress...)



Then we had a fabulous Easter Breakfast Casserole followed by a little Easter egg hunt in the back yard. It was really wet out there so I made the kids wear their snow boots so their legs didn't get all wet.





Then it was about time for Church. After Church we went to my parents where my mom had made the kids another cute little Easter basket! They loved it! Thanks mom!

We had such a wonderful Easter Sunday and hope you all did too!

Chubbers

An Early Easter

Kelly, Roger and Dane where all in town this weekend so we had Easter a week early this year! We will still do an egg hunt and have the Easter bunny come next weekend but we did the big Easter dinner and an egg hunt at my parents today. We also had Aunt Deb, Uncle Wayne, Cousin Katie and Great Grandma there, so we had quite the group! It was a lot of fun!

Yesterday we colored the eggs. We did them tie die (ty dy? How the heck do you spell that?) this year. It was fun. Brandon and I squirted a little color on the the egg that was in a bag and the kids spread the color around with their hands. They had a great time.


Brynley has just gotten mildly in trouble in the above picture. She hates that.

Today we had a big ham and potatoes dinner with carrot cake for dessert! Brandon and I hid the eggs while everyone else went on a walk around the block. That is a tradition we've had since we were kids and we want to keep that one alive!

The kids loved searching for the eggs. This egg hunt number two out of four for this year and I'm sure it will never get old!
